This review may be a bit long, but that is necessary to explain how important Scott was to my training. I made a commitment to run the NYC Marathon with my daughter. I had run marathons before, but not in my 60’s and was concerned I wouldn’t be able to run with my daughter. I reached out to Scott with my goals, and he implemented a perfect plan. As a result of his enthusiasm, I worked hard to follow his suggestions and he was always there with support whether I had a good or poor run. Without Scott, I have no doubt I would not have been in the shape I was for the marathon. I knew on the day of the marathon I was as prepared as well as I could be and ran with my daughter. The run was relatively easy for me and because I was in the shape I was, I was able to push my daughter so she could have a great experience and push through moments when she was struggling. I will definitely reach out to Scott again when my other daughter decides to run a marathon…ugh.

“I have been running since 1974 to include 16 marathon’s (2 Boston). I stopped running for a time but always missed it. Now in my mid 60’s, I decided to give it a go in this past January but did not know how to start over in training. I searched many sites and found TRR. Best decision I could make. I looked over the coaches and found Scott would be a Great pair for me and my goals. From the first time we spoke I knew he was the coach I needed. He is selfless with his time he gives me as an individual. We speak on the phone, email, text, and comment daily on every workout. He is always available. He is patient and very understanding of my needs and is open to suggestions and changes towards my weekly workout schedule. He has brought me from walking workouts to running six miles since January with my first 5k in October in four years. I truly trust Scott in every aspect of my training. Besides a Great coach, we have become friends and I hope to meet him in the future. He has been a Godsend to me personally and I can’t Thank him enough for what he has done for me. ~ Leigh Gibson Age 66 Marathoner, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ

“I highly recommend Coach Scott Sayler! He is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He is really good at motivating me to get running. Though I have been running off and on most of my life, I tend to get injured by jumping back in too fast. I’ve been working with him for two months, and he has helped me ease back into running without getting injured (so far!), and that is worth a lot to me. I’ve never met him in person, but feel like he’s a friend who has my best interest in mind. If you want/need a supportive and motivating coach, Scott Sayler is your guy!” ~ Holly Age 55 Runner/Biker/Swimmer Fort Collins, CO

“Scott is an excellent coach! I went from not running at all to completing four half marathons in less than six months with his coaching. He takes the time to get to know you early in the process so that he understands your personal goals and lifestyle, including sleep, diet, and fitness. This ensured that the personalized plans he developed for me really fit with my needs and kept me on track. It’s clear that Scott is considering so many details when developing my weekly plans. As we’ve worked together more, he’s learned more about my efforts and has keyed in on things that weren’t obvious to me which has kept me engaged in the workouts. He is also very flexible, adapting to any training shifts that I need based on my schedule. He’s motivating, patient, encouraging, and thoughtful! I could not be happier with my results and know that I would not have been able to do it without him!” ~ Carlye Age 30 Cyclist/Runner Leadville, CO

“I was the heaviest and most out of shape I had been in my life.  I found myself having to rest between flights of stairs and even my "fat" pants were so tight I had to unbutton them to be able to sit comfortably when driving.  Since working with Scott I've dropped 18 pounds, hills and stairs aren't as tough as they used to be.  Scott has been patient and encouraged me even when I wasn't being the most easy guy to work with.  He's even changed my attitude and outlook on life, for which I will be eternally grateful.  I can't believe how far I've come from where I was and I owe it all to Scott.  I truly believe with Scott's coaching and guidance that I will reach my fitness goals.  Who knows...I may even surpass them.” ~ Ronnie Age 58 Former Professional Boxer Evergreen, CO

“Anyone looking for a private running coach, I highly recommend Scott Sayler. He's been super beneficial in helping me learn the basics of healthy running strategies and habits. I've never enjoyed running at all and he's found a way to make it more fun for me!” ~ Mychal Age 28 Former NCAA Division I Basketball Player Denver, CO

”As an inexperienced runner I knew I had a lot to learn before reaching my goal of running a half marathon. I needed a coach who was patient, experienced, and willing to form a custom training program that worked with my schedule and experience level. Coach Sayler checked all the boxes and more. He not only got me into the physical shape required to run a half marathon, but also prepared me mentally by helping me form a healthy running mindset. After months of hard work and tailored guidance from Coach Sayler, I was fully prepared to race and actually ended up beating my time goal! I highly recommend Coach Sayler for any runner, regardless of experience level.” Joey 6’5” 225 lb Age 25 Tampa Bay, FL
